Porto Montenegro has partnered with Warsash Superyacht Academy, the superyacht division of the world-leading Warsash Maritime Academy, based in Southampton, England [part of Solent University]. Warsash Superyacht Academy will launch a series of courses in Montenegro this autumn and subject to demand, and will eventually offer its full maritime training portfolio with internationally recognised qualifications for superyacht crew.

This exciting new training facility will be named Warsash Superyacht Academy Porto Montenegro and represents an incredible opportunity for yachts and crew alike to benefit from world-class training delivered by the leading experts in superyacht training.

“The opening of the Warsash Superyacht Academy Porto Montenegro will further broaden the integrated superyacht services on offer at Porto Montenegro, making it the natural yachting homeport base of choice in this part of Mediterranean. We look forward to bringing you more news of the commencement operations of the Academy very soon with a view to offering the first courses in the Autumn and Winter of 2018/2019” stated David Margason, Managing Director of Porto Montenegro.

Warsash Superyacht Academy Porto Montenegro is another initiative of the Platinum awarded marina aiming to add value to the crew and boats staying in the marina during the winter. Extensive crew events calendar, ranging from local parties and sports competitions to Belgrade weekend trips and ski chalet on offer will certainly add excitement to everyone moored in the marina.

This exciting new addition is complemented by a host of new benefits for crew and marina-users; particularly of note is the new winter berthing programme providing a secure, naturally sheltered and well-catered environment for berth owners with premium and Platinum berthing options

The marina provides an exhaustive range of service for clients including free 24-hour yacht assistance, guest concierge, onsite repair and maintenance facilities at three nearby boatyards. Montenegro’s out of EU status brings tax and duty-free fuel benefits and 7% VAT on marine-related services.
