The target age group is children from 8 to 15 years and the deadline for accepting entries is 21 October 2018.

“The aim of the initiative is to enhance the place of late Sheikh Zayed locally and internationally as a symbol of patriotism,” said Naila Al Mansouri, Head of Children’s City.

She said the move is in continuation of the various activities carried out by the departments and institutions of the country in general and the Dubai Municipality in particular on the occasion of the Year of Zayed, in order to highlight his role in the establishment and building up of the UAE, in addition to his local and global achievements.

“It also aims to instill in the minds of children respect and appreciation to Sheikh Zayed’s personality, principles and values as an example of one of the world’s greatest and most inspirational leaders, and the promotion of the love of the nation and the leader in the hearts of children as well as the development of creative skills for children in the consolidation of all noble concepts and adopting them in their personal lives,” said Al Mansouri.
