“Hadhar and Partners” first awareness play during summer activities of People of Determination … reports Asian Lite News.
The play “Hadhar and Partners,” organized by the Health and Safety Department’s Awareness and Education Team of Dubai Municipality’s Health and Safety Department, during two days of the summer activities at the Dubai Club for the People of Determination received tremendous response from the participants of the summer activities.
The play was part of Dubai Municipality’s corporate social responsibility to promote and spread community awareness. It was the first theatrical performance for creating awareness, which was organized in the club during its summer activities. The aim of the play was to spread useful awareness messages for the People of Determination in the field of health and safety.
The play revolves around the character of “Hadhar,” the Health and Safety Ambassador in Dubai Municipality and his advice to children to avoid the risks that they may be exposed during the summer and urged them to participate in the dissemination of awareness messages among them.
The Awareness and Education Team’s participation in the summer activities of the Dubai Club for the People of Determination comes in view of its belief in the importance of instilling health concepts and enhancing them through a play that carries many important messages of awareness.
Eng. Redha Salman, Director of Dubai Municipality’s Health and Safety Department, stressed that the Municipality in all its campaigns, programs and activities takes into account the interest of the People of Determination and enhances the efforts to provide everything that bring them happiness.
“This play comes as part of Dubai Municipality’s continuous cooperation with Dubai Club for People of Determination in order to provide everything that contributes to the development of their skills and enrich their knowledge,” he said.
Fawzia Al Balooshi, Assistant Executive Director of Programs and Activities at Dubai Club for People of Determination said that the members of the club were happy to see the show and described it as brilliant creative work.
It is worth mentioning that the play was also successfully staged during the activities of Modhesh World over the past two years and had received tremendous response from the audience there. This year’s show at Modhesh World witnessed an active participation of the People of Determination as two of them acted in the play.
Organizing the play was part of Dubai Municipality’s keenness to enhance its awareness role in the community through the participation in such events to encourage the People of Determination and the young and old members of the society to commit themselves to healthy and safe practices and disseminate them among themselves.
