Happy Voice is a non-profit organisation working for the empowerment of women and backward children. The organisation is a volunteer group under Mrs Nuzarath Jahan specifically formed to help the people who are badly affected in the recent Kerala flood … reports Asian Lite News.

Happy Voice is comforting the Keralite community by their relief work to help the flood affected victims of Kerala. The flood related work is split into Relief and Rehab.

Agraharam colony situated in Edevaka Grama Panchayath of Wayanad district, in which 52 scheduled tribe families in the localities were fully effected by the flood. The loss caused by them were not possible to calculate in money. Entire household articles furniture, dress etc were washed out.

The families wanted to build up their life from the beginning. With the help of Arise Wayanad Field Volunteers who knew all areas of Wayanad, provided services in the interior parts where other NGOs and Government agencies’ help was not reached

The organization’s main objective is to reach out to the needy and destitute people in rural areas and support them in the medical, educational and social development areas.

With the active support from kindhearted individuals and organizations, the Trust has evolved itself into a movement of rural youth and taken up the responsibility of rural areas in a larger perspective.

The Trust now has the following broad areas of activity including, Women uplift empower and Health Camps, Medical Camps and Health Awareness Programs, Setting Up Old Age Homes, Establishing Orphanages, Providing Educational Support and Undertaking Rural Reconstruction Programs.
