“On November 23, we officially started our yearlong celebration of the 550 years anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. One of his main teachings is to accept and respect all people irrespective of religion, nationality, or race. One of the basis of our faith is selfless service. These values of respect and service are the driving force for our projects such as this joint service initiative. By welcoming The Church of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Gurudwara and by working hand in hand with them to provide assistance to the less privileged members of our community, we are able to showcase how interfaith cooperation can bring service to the community. Our congregation is always happy and honored to serve and is open to cooperate with anyone and everyone” Mr. Surender Singh Kandhari, Chairman of Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara
