Labour India students from Pre-KG to Plus Two and College will actively participate in the 48 hour long Learning Festival with their Dance, Drama, Skits, Songs and other cultural programs. The talents of the school’s Learning Community are showcased on and off stage. The management ensures every student in the school participates in this festival with a unique performance.
President John F. Kennedy said: “All of us do not have equal talents, but all of us should have an equal opportunity.”
The uniqueness of the Annual Learning Festival is that apart from the fun and celebrations of the festival, 90% of the stage programs are connected to or inspired from the school text books or the current year school curriculum. It is the culmination of an year long learning expedition of students. The teaching staff plan and students train from beginning of the academic year. The programmes during the event includes themes and concepts from Arts, Science, Language & Literature, History, Culture and General Knowledge and the event is interdisciplinary in nature.
Every student is mentored before hand to participate in programmes like music, dance and drama to further encourage and reinforce their skills. Last year every student took part in at least three programmes during the Annual Learning Festival and the history is all set to repeat itself this year. All are invited to come, witness and be part of the fiesta, Gurukulam Learning Festival 2019.
