Mr Surendar Singh Kandhari, chairman of Dubai-based Al Dobowi Group and the winner of 2019 Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Award, welcomed the selection of Mr Paras Shahdadpuri as the President of the Business Leaders Forum (BLF) UAE.
Mr Shahdadpuri took over as the President of the Business Leaders Forum UAE, for a one-year term ending February 2020.
Mr Kandhari, one of the most prominent Indian businessmen in the region, said Mr Shahadapuris’s term will open a new chapter in the Indo-UAE business ties.
“I am pleased to be part of the Business Leaders Forum (BLF) UAE and I congratulate Mr. Paras Shahdadpuri for becoming the president,” Mr Kandhari said in a statement. “I commit my support to his leadership in pursuing the goals of BLF. We will work as a team and give our best efforts in achieving our goals that is to foster the UAE-India partnership in both economic and social aspects.”
Mr Shahdadpuri was chosen as the President of the Business Leaders Forum UAE, BLF, at an event held in Dubai in the presence of HE Shri Vipul Consul General of India. Several prominent business leaders were also present including Chairman of ITEC ME, Mr Sudesh Aggarwal and BLF Secretary General, Sripriya Kumari.
“India – UAE relationship, besides its traditional, trade, political, economic relationship has now assumed a major shift to strategic relationship never seen in its earlier long historic relationship,” said Mr Shahdadpuri. “This is really the Golden Era between our brotherly UAE and India.”
