Dr PA Mohammed, Managing Director, Badr Al Samaa Group, is felicitated with an award for Business Excellence in a yearly famous cultural program – Padmatheertham. The event was organized by Trivandrum Expats Association Muscat (TEAM). HE Manu Mahawar – the chief guest of the event, Ambassador of India to Oman presented the award to Dr. Mohammed in a glittering ceremony attended by hundreds including dignitaries, TV Celebrities and representation from various social organizations. Mr Addul Gaffar Moulavi, Former Chief Imam, Palayam Masjid, Thiruvanthapuram was the guest of honour of the event. The event witnessed many cultural programs including dance and singing performances by talented artists and comedy shows by TV stars of Comedy Utsavam, a famous comedy TV program in Kerala.
The life journey of Dr PA Mohammad, popularly known as Fayeda Mohammed, is a strong example of famous quote “luck favors the brave”. His dare to see and explore the dream of spreading wings in diversified sectors like Travel & Tourism, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality etc. has left a mark of success at every stage. A cosmopolitan and a successful entrepreneur, Dr Mohammad is emotionally attached to Gulf especially Oman which gave wings to his dreams and provided many opportunities to thrive as a successful businessman. He believes in innovation led business models which are considered as bench-marks. He attributes his success to continuous development and commitment.
His passion of doing business drew him to Mumbai from Kerala, where in 90’s he became an entrepreneur and started his first venture – Fayeda Travels and his debut to travel and tourism industry lent him exposure to the real world of business and made him fit to face challenges. Later he spread this company to many countries in Gulf.
In gulf he started his journey from Oman by venturing into healthcare when he started a clinic, Badr Al Samaa, in Ruwi, Muscat along with his two partners. This clinic gradually grew to a leading private healthcare chain in Oman which is acknowledged widely. Not just Oman, Badr Al Samaa made its mark in other GCC countries like Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr Mohammed Said thanked Trivandrum Expats Association Muscat (TEAM) for honoring him and recognizing his efforts. He expressed his gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Bin Qaboos Al Said for inspiring leadership and support by providing congenial atmosphere of doing business. He said his excellence in business is because of his passion and untiring hard-work and because of his employees and friends whose commitment and hard-work has contributed to his success as business leader in Gulf.
