His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid celebrates Flag Day with children at Union House

The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has said that the UAE flag will always be a symbol of UAE’s unity and a source of pride for its citizens. The flag will constantly inspire the UAE people to continue on the journey of development and progress initiated by the founding fathers led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

“The UAE flag is a precious national asset that we need to preserve through hard work and diligent efforts, so that the UAE can attain global leadership. His Highness stressed that knowledge will always be a key factor in the UAE’s effort to win the global race,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said.

Sheikh Mohammed’s remark came as he hoisted the UAE flag at the Union House to mark the UAE Flag Day, which was announced by him in 2013.

The ceremony was attended by students of a number of schools and people of determination.
