Dubai Municipality will sponsor the third annual orphan ceremony, to be held by Dar Al Ber Society. Dawood Al Hajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality handed over a cheque of Dhs100,000 to Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Society. The move is part of Municipality’s social responsibility to be part of useful, distinctive community initiatives, which benefit the different categories of the community.

Al Hajiri stressed that the Municipality is one of the government departments that aims to activate charitable work devoting a culture of social solidarity and supporting noble issues.

He added that the Municipality’s initiative is in support of the humanitarian efforts of Dar Al Ber Society to implement and supervise many charitable projects in many Arab and Islamic countries, which has had a great impact on disseminating the teachings of Islam and spreading the spirit of social solidarity among Muslims.

“It also reaffirms the depth of the Municipality’s commitment to support constructive community initiatives in various fields. The Municipality always welcomes offering continuous support to the community institutions to improve the level of services provided by these institutions to the society in line with developments in Dubai in various fields and at various levels in line with the directives of the wise government of Dubai,” Al Hajiri pointed out.
