Lootah assures Dubai Municipality support to People of Determination with Down Syndrome … reports Asian Lite News.
Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, stressed the importance of providing support and contributions to a better and bright future for the People of Determination with Down Syndrome.
He was speaking during a meeting with a delegation of the Emirates Down Syndrome Association. The delegation offered the association’s gratitude to Dubai Municipality as an active partner in making the People of Determination with Down Syndrome happy during the past year.
Lootah added that the Municipality pays great attention to the People of Determination in the Municipality and is always keen to participate in providing all the requirements that guarantee and accomplish happiness to them by launching initiatives and campaigns and providing them with appropriate services, as the Municipality always appreciates and cares this important group in the society.
During the meeting, the delegation presented all the latest developments and future plans of the association, which aims at providing an integrated environment that ensures all services that contribute to the happiness of the members of the association.
Lootah expressed the Municipality’s full preparedness to support all plans and provide facilities that will achieve the most important results in realizing happiness for the People of Determination with Down Syndrome.
The delegation also presented a painting, prepared by the People of Determination in the association as an expression of their gratitude for the continuous efforts of the Municipality and its unlimited support in providing all recreational services for them. The painting highlights the importance of supporting and developing the skills of the People of Determination and discovering their talents in various fields, such as drawing, swimming or any of the various activities practiced by the People of Determination in the association.
The delegation commended the Municipality’s care to the People of Determination with Down Syndrome and its efforts and keen attention to meet all the needs of the association’s members and for developing their skills and discovering the creative aspects that reflect their talents.
