Angélique Turner is an international hair & makeup artist and beauty educator based in Dubai. She was raised in Australia and studied makeup artistry in Los Angeles, California.
Angélique has created a business, teaching and educating females alongside her own hair & makeup artist business. As a beauty educator, Angélique conducts consistently sold out masterclasses with the vision to empower women through beauty knowledge and creating positive self-image.
“Moving to Dubai gave me the drive to create something more in the beauty industry, as it’s a city that supports entrepreneurs and visionaries. I knew I wanted to expand my business, and through my clients I came to realize that there was a huge lack of hands on beauty education. They were looking at YouTube and Instagram and not understanding how to create certain looks for themselves.
So I started the masterclasses as a way for women to take control of their personal image and not only gain self esteem but also give them another tool that would make them more confident in their daily dealings. Whether that be in the boardroom, giving presentations for their own businesses or at social functions with friends and family. I’ve been overwhelmed by the response the classes are getting.” says Angélique.
Angélique has worked with major brands and organisations including Nike, CNN, Kat Von D Beauty, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Piaget, Chaumet, Jaguar, Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdales, Guerlain, Laura Mercier and Christian Dior.
