Replying to a question raised by AAP legislator Nazar Singh Manshahia, cabinet minister Brahm Mahindra told the House that 7,353 proclaimed offenders had been declared in the state.

He said that the state government had set up a proclaimed offenders cell under the supervision of senior officers to nab them.

Manshahia demanded that the pictures of all the proclaimed offenders be displayed on public platforms.

This was supported by the Leader of Opposition (LoP) Harpal Singh Cheema who said that the criminals were enjoying political patronage.
