President Ram Nath Kovind, with Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi during the swearing-in-ceremony of Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, as the first Lokpal of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan

“President Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath of office to Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose as Chairperson, Lokpal, at a ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan,” an official statement said.

Justice Ghose will head the panel that comprise Justice Dilip B. Bhosale, Justice Pradip Kumar Mohanty, Justice Abhilasha Kumari and Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi.

Besides, the panel would have Dinesh Kumar Jain, Archana Ramasundaram, Mahender Singh and Indrajeet Prasad Gautam as non-judicial members.
