The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in in the process of cementing its cooperation and consultation with Russian in various fields, particularly the Palestinian issue, peace and security, inter-religious and inter-cultural dialogue and oncombating terrorism and extremism.
OIC Secretary General of the Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen, commented on the subject, during his participation in the virtual conference held on Tuesday the ‘15 Anniversary of the Russian Federation’s Observer Membership of the OIC, Bahrain News Agency reports.
He said that the organization accords great importance to its relations with the Russian and looks forward to continuing dialogue and strengthening existing fruitful cooperation between the two parties.
He also expressed hope that the OIC Member States would nurture more constructive cooperative relations with Russia, which can contribute effectively to resolving regional and international issues.
