During his speech as President of World Medical Council Dr Mulk said, “Despite having more than 10,000 of private medical clinics and hospitals & more than 30, 000 licensed medical doctor & Para medical staff, we have not yet formed a unified body to represent our common concerns to the DHA, MOH or HAAD, and one of the first actions I would like to take is to create a professional panel in this regard.”

“Such a panel can deliberate and discuss issues that we all face in the private sector and prepare policies or recommendations that we can present to the concerned ministry authority. Second is the collaborations we must make between the public & private hospitals and find working solutions that can help both establishments and simultaneously improve patient care & patient outcome.”
