Prime Minister Modi attending Davos Summit 2018

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Oman on February 11. The visit is part of his tour to the Middle East covering the UAE and Palestine.

Indian Social Club, Muscat, meanwhile invites Indian Community members in Oman to visit Indian Embassy’s website http://www.indemb-oman.org for registration for participation in a Community Event scheduled to take place on 11 Feb 2018 afternoon in Muscat. This will be the only public function Modi attending the Sultanate.

During his first visit to Oman, the Indian prime minister will hold discussions with senior leaders in the Sultanate.  Planning for the visit has been underway since Oman’s ruler Sultan Qaboos nominated his cousin Sayyid Asad bin Tariq Al Said on March 2 as the deputy prime minister in charge of international affairs, The Hindu newspaper said.
Citing sources, the newspaper said that the nomination of Sayyid Asad had given a clear signal that he was the most likely successor to Sultan Qaboos
