Shurooq draws interest from global media and tour operators at WTM 2018 in London … reports Asian Lite News.
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, Shurooq, has unveiled its latest portfolio of tourism and hospitality projects to key media representatives and global tourism and hospitality operators from the UK and Europe, during the 4-day World Travel Market 2018, which concluded on Wednesday November 7th in London, UK.
The participation at the Sharjah Pavilion, which was organised by Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, was aimed at highlighting Shurooq’s role as a major driver in supporting the emirate’s vision of attracting 10 million tourists in 2021.
During the international event, Shurooq showcased its premier leisure destinations including Al Montazah Parks, Al Majaz Waterfront and Al Noor Island. They also highlighted the opportunities and shared the latest updates on projects infusing heritage, culture, entertainment and environmental sustainability, including the Kingfisher Lodge in Kalba, Al Badayer Oasis Lodge at the Al Badayer desert, and Al Faya Lodge in Mleiha ecotourism project.
Shurooq took advantage of its participation to highlight all of its most recent initiatives in developing existing and upcoming tourism and hospitality projects, which are carried out in collaboration with a number of public and private establishments in the emirate to provide world-class services and unique luxury facilities that reflect Sharjah’s rich heritage and unique identity.
