UAE, India accelerating cooperation ties

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, this morning received the Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Navdeep Suri, to discuss ways of intensifying cooperation channels, along with an array of issues of common interest.

Al Bowardi commended the growing ties of friendship between the UAE and India, particularly at the defence levels.

The meeting, which was held at the premises of the Ministry of Defence here, was attended by Matar Salim Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, and a number of senior ranking military officers.
