UAE to participate in ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit’

Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, said that the UAE will participate in the summit through a high-level delegation … reports Asian Lite News.

The UAE will participate in the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit’, which will be held in the Indian state of Gujarat from 18th to 20th January, 2019.

The UAE will participate as a partner country for the second consecutive year.

Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, said that the UAE will participate in the summit through a high-level delegation, which will include senior government officials and prominent businessmen while calling on everyone to participate in the UAE’s dialogue session and visit the UAE pavilion.

Banna stressed that the UAE’s previous participation in the summit had good outcomes, which include the discovery of new opportunities for business, partnerships and cooperation.

“The state of Gujarat, the land of Mahatma Gandhi, represents the business spirit of India,” Banna added while asserting that the summit will help strengthen the overall cooperation between the UAE and Gujarat and expressing his keenness to benefit from the resulting commercial and investment opportunities.

The Summit was conceptualized in 2003 to re-establish Gujarat as a preferred investment destination within India.

Today, the 9th Summit has evolved into a platform for brainstorming on agendas of global socio-economic development, in addition to being a facilitator for knowledge sharing and forging effective partnerships.

The 9th Vibrant Gujarat 2019 Summit provides a forum for discussion on global,national and state-level agendas with a sharp focus on all round economic development for a ‘New India’.
