Dubai Courts delegation visits Dubai Municipality

A delegation from the Dubai Courts Department visited the Knowledge Management Department in Dubai Municipality to learn about the best practices of the Municipality in the field of knowledge transfer and how to manage the internal and external website of the Department.

Mariam Bin Fahad, Director of the Municipality’s Knowledge Management Department, who received the delegation, briefed the Courts officials on the main tasks required, the indicators that are periodically measured, the role of the Department in achieving the Municipality’s vision through the strategic objective of becoming a pioneering and innovative Municipality globally and how to achieve a significant level of intellectual property increase and win prizes of global value.

The delegation listened to an explanation by Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Al Louz, Head of Knowledge Exchange Section about the department’s policy on how to manage the knowledge and innovation portal, how to use the knowledge available in the Municipality, how to get back to it at the time of need through the portal and its contribution in raising awareness and identifying the various functions in the Municipality.

The delegation was also briefed about the mechanism by which Dubai Municipality manages its external website, how to set up and discuss important topics for customers, and get feedback to identify the number of visitors and what pages are visited.

The Dubai Courts delegation included Khalifa Al Mehrazi, Head of Knowledge Management Department, Huda Abdulrahman, Head of Customer Care Division, Amna Al Muddasir, Head of External Knowledge Division, and Mohammed Shawki, Senior Programmer in Courts.
