Fujairah Ruler attends Arab League-EU summit

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today met with Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the Arab League-European Union Summit in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed also met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and Leo Varadkar, Prime Minister of Ireland.

The meetings discussed issues on the summit’s agenda, and how to strengthen the partnerships between Arab and European countries.

Sheikh Hamad praised the summit’s organisation and its management by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt.

The meetings were attended by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy; Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Mariam Hareb Almheiri, Minister of State for Food Security; Ahmed bin Ali Mohammed Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Saif Mohammed Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi; Faris Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Special Advisor to the Ruler of Fujairah; Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, ADFD; Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Amiri Diwan in Fujairah; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Abdullah Matar Al Mazrouei, Director of the Arab Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative at the Arab League.
