‘I visit the UAE as a brother’, says Pope Francis

In a tweet, the Pontiff said, “I am about to leave for the United Arab Emirates. I am visiting that country as a brother, in order to write a page of dialogue together, and to travel paths of peace together. Pray for me!” … reports Asian Lite News.

As His Holiness Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church, is about to embark on a historic visit to the UAE, he said that he would be visiting the country as a brother.

In a tweet, the Pontiff said, “I am about to leave for the United Arab Emirates. I am visiting that country as a brother, in order to write a page of dialogue together, and to travel paths of peace together. Pray for me!”

This visit will be the first by a Head of the Catholic Church to the Arabian Peninsula.
