RAK Hospital wins Sheikh Khalifa Excellence award

RAK Hospitals won another laurel. It won the prestigious Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) for Business Excellence at the 17th edition of the Award.

The success of RAK Hospitals at the event bags limelight because it is the only healthcare institution in private sector to receive the honour at the Event. The premier healthcare institution is also the first hospital in the northern emirates to have won the award, selected from more than 50 companies representing all economic sectors in the UAE and abroad. The glittering ceremony was held at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi and attended by business leaders across the UAE.

A pioneer in innovation and technology in the UAE healthcare sector, RAK Hospital has been time and again recognised for its successful business model that has neatly blended healthcare with hospitality to present a novel approach to healing. Over the years, the hospital has carved a niche for itself as a forerunner in various specialties, bringing new surgical concepts to the UAE residents.

“Over the years, the UAE leaders have been consistently encouraging the business sector to perform well with not only lucrative opportunities but awards like these which are a huge morale booster,” Dr Siddiqui added.

Now in its 17th cycle, Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award was launched by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) in 1999 as a blue print, a roadmap and a methodology for continuous improvement aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the business sector in the UAE. Criteria for selection is based on Results Orientation, Customer Focus, People Development and Involvement, Continuous Learning, Innovation and Improvement, Partnership Development and Public Responsibility among others.
