Bahrain gets HCQ tablets from India

Bahrain has received a shipment of Hydroxychloroquine, following the export approval issued by the government of the Republic of India.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinate the operation with the Ministry of Health. The drug has been used as part of the Kingdom’s treatment protocol for active COVID-19 patients.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its gratitude to the Indian government for its cooperation and facilitation during the process of receiving the shipment, which reflects the strength of cooperative ties between Bahrain and India across various fields.

It reiterated the importance for all countries to unite and join efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Ramadan Greetings

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a phone call with Eastern Province Governor His Royal Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and exchanged greetings marking the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan, wishing their brotherly countries and peoples and the Arab and Islamic nations further progress and prosperity.

HM the King also held a telephone with Iraqi Premier-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and exchanged greetings marking the advent the Holy month of Ramadan, wishing their brotherly peoples and the Arab and Islamic nations further progress and prosperity.

HM the King wished Premier-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi success  in chairing the Iraqi Government.
