Bahrain’s Mosques To Remain Shut

The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) in Bahrain has said that the suspension of prayers in mosques and mass worship would continue until reaching the required reduction of the virus infection numbers as decided by medical authorities.

The Council added that people should continue to rise to the highest levels of responsibility and take the health measures seriously for the sake of their families and their country in order to overcome the pandemic.

602 new Covid-19 cases were registered in the country on Tuesday. With this the total number of infections has risen to 34,078. The country has also recorded 116 COVID-19 deaths. The Ministry of Health has also revealed that 29,753 people have recovered from the disease.
