Coalition Forces Strike Targets In Yemen

The Arab Coalition forces has struck and destroyed two targets allegedly belonging to the Houthi Militia situated South of Saleef port.

The Official Spokesman of the Coalition, COL Turki Al-Malki claimed in a statement that the destroyed targets posed an imminent threat to Sea Lines of Communication, international trade and regional and international security.

The forces claim to have attacked two bomb-laden USVs. The Houthi militia is also said to be using Hodeida governorate as a ballistic missile and bomb-laden UAV and USV launch site.

Last week, the Arab coalition had intercepted and destroyed four explosive-laden drones launched by the Houthis in the direction of Saudi Arabia.

“The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will continue to implement all necessary measures and procedures to handle legitimate military targets such as these, in accordance with the customary International Humanitarian Law, and its support to the efforts of the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to implement the Stockholm Agreement, end the coup and reach a sustainable, comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis,” the statement said.
