Union Coop Online Store Expects AED 30 Million Sales in 2019 … reports Asian Lite News.
Amidst a series of unique promotions and offers, Union Coop, the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE revealed that it expects AED 30 Million Sales in 2019, with more than 60,000 SKUs from its web store and online partners.
The retail pioneer also listed previous year online sales as AED 15.8 Million from the web store and online partners, while expecting to outdo themselves this year by nearly double the previous year sales figure.
H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop said, “Our web store crossed AED 5 Million in sales by February 2019 and at the same rate we are looking forward to a figure of AED 30 Million in sales by 2019 end, nearly twice compared to the AED 15.8 Million sales of 2018. Today, the web store offers premier facilities like same day/next day delivery for fresh and frozen groceries all over Dubai.”
Al Falasi said, “Compared to the now 22,357 SKUs, targeting 60,000 SKUs will enable the consumers to have a complete and hassle-free shopping experience with our web store, wherein everything that Customer requires will be at a click of a button.
We are deploying cutting-edge technology in our web store to offer a next-generation shopping experience to the consumers, an example is the integration of Tamayaz cards with the website wherein the Tamayaz cardholders (Gold and Silver) will be able to enjoy the promotions while shopping and collect points at the same time. In order to reach consumers better, we have collaborated with renowned digital channels and marketplaces such as – Souq.com, Elgrocer.com, Instashop.ae, Dukkaani, Noon.com. We also use social and digital media channels to promote our products and online store. In addition to a dedicated smart application”
