UAE Envoy meets with Indian officials

Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, accompanied by Ahmed Sultan Al Falahi, Commercial Attaché at the Embassy, met with S. Tirmoretti, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Economic Relations, and Nagendra Prasad, Assistant Under-Secretary for Gulf Affairs, at the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting addressed issues related to the Emirati investments in India, as well as an aviation agreement and many topics of mutual concern.

During the meeting, Al Banna talked about reinforcing the ties between the UAE and India in agriculture and nutrition, as well as the anticipated visit of Mariam Hareb Almheiri, Minister of State for Food Security, to India.
