Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed to hold the next meeting of the High-Level Strategic Council in Kiev before the end of 2019, the Ukrainian president’s official website said.

Zelensky held a telephone conversation with Erdogan on Thursday. Erdogan confirmed the continuous support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and expressed his hope for further strengthening of the relations with Ukraine, Xinhua news agency reported.

Earlier this month the leaders of the two countries agreed to coordinate actions in the Black Sea region and work jointly on bringing peace and stability to this part of the world during their meeting in Ankara on Aug 7.
