Abu Dhabi to host Al Samha Heritage Festival

‘Al Samha Heritage Festival’ to welcome visitors tomorrow … reports Asian Lite News.

The 9th ‘Al Samha Heritage Festival’ will welcome visitors from 18 to 25 November 2018 at the Samha Youth Center.

The traditional festival celebrates UAE culture, including many of its long standing traditions and features activities related to heritage and local traditions.

Organised by the Emirates Heritage Club, EHC, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative, and Chairman of the EHC, the seven-day family event features heritage, cultural, social, entertaining and sports programmes.

The event is executed by the Al Samha Boys’ Centre to achieve several objectives of the club strategy. It supports the productive family activities and supports the national identities throughout several activities of heritage and culture through the 20 activities.

With an aim is to enhance public awareness of traditional events in Emirati society, the festival is designed for families and offers visitors enjoyable activities including traditional dancing such as Ayalla and Youla, a traditional market (Souq), traditional food and performances besides valuable gifts for students and participants.
