Yes, we are in Dubai, and we are at Jumeirah Lake Towers Community Park, where Holi celebration under Rang De JLT was top notch.
Families, young and old and people across all nationalities were soaked in unadulterated joy and mirth.
Draped in white, people in fun and play, thronged the park in large numbers and smeared each other with bright hued powders and squirted colored water on one another through big syringe like hand pumps.
Celebration with music and dance, irrespective of color or race, people immersed themselves in colorful joy.
Three Djs, DJ Nodde, DJ Nikhil and DJ Ajay were spinning back to back to keep the crowd entertained.
Celebrity performances by famous Indian Bollywood dancer Shefali Zariwala and Saregama Li’l Champs 2017 favorites Dhroon Tickoo and Jayas Kumar made the atmosphere even more energetic.
All this partying will make you hungry, right? Well, not to worry as there was plenty to eat on the menu.
Sherbets, kulfis, biriyani and samosa meant that the people were getting flavors from the four corners of India.
The celebration continued into the evening and by 6 p.m. came to an end.
