Emad Hamdy is the present General Manager of Sleep Fine Mattresses. He brought to the company two decades of professional experience in the manufacturing industry when he joined the organization in 2018.

Prior to joining Sleep Fine, Emad was the General Manager of Royal Furniture Group, which has its own foam, mattresses, and furniture factors in the UAE and India. He reported directly to the Group’s CEO during his almost three-year stint with the organization. His main responsibilities included products development, preparation of the annual business plans, establishment of new markets and subsidiaries in the Middle East, and management of the mattresses and furniture wholesales team.

He also worked for Intercoil International where he stayed for 17 years holding numerous senior management positions. When he left Intercoil, he was the company’s Senior Manager – International sales, leading a team of 50 people. His main responsibilities included the development of the annual business plans, setting and developing strategies and objectives, monitoring and analysing the market trend, representing the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company, managing the hospitality projects outside UAE, managing the retails outlets outside UAE.

He is renowned for his skills in planning, analyzing, international marketing, accounts management, B2B sales, negotiation, retail sales, strategic planning, product development, and customer service.

Emad earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cairo University; and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Mansoura University.

The top Egyptian executive attended numerous courses and training programs given by prestigious institutions based in the United States and the UAE. These included training in Simmons Bedding Factories in the US; International Quality Auditor ISO 9001:2000 from KPMG; Techniques for Effective sales and customer care from Dubai Institution of Business and Management; and Business Report Writing from the Emirates Institute of Technology.
