Muscat Fixes New Timings For Commercial Sector

Muscat Municipality has decided to fix the daily duty hours of commercial outlets and commercial complexes in the Governorate of Muscat from 10 am to 10 pm, except for hypermarkets, whose status remains unchanged.

The municipality, on Monday pointed out that the decision comes within the context of keenness to ensure the safety of all and curb causes of infection with coronavirus (Covid-19), following coordination with the Supreme Covid-19 Control Committee, Oman News reported.

The municipality underscored the need to stick to precautionary measures on health requirements for customers who frequent the outlets.

It is worth noting that commercial centres and complexes used to open for business from 8 am to 12midnight on a daily basis.
