UAE envoy meets Pakistan minister

Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, has met with Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan…reports Asian Lite News

Al Zaabi congratulated Khar on assuming her new position during the meeting and wished her success. He also highlighted the strong ties between the UAE and Pakistan, pointing out that there are many opportunities to enhance cooperation at various levels for the benefit of both sides.

Al Zaabi also stressed the UAE’s consistent policy in strengthening relations with friendly countries based on the principles of trust and mutual respect, serving common interests, working for peace and development, and promoting the values of coexistence and tolerance regionally and globally.

Khar, in turn, reaffirmed the depth of relations between the UAE and Pakistan, the importance of working closely to boost them further for the interest of both countries and their peoples, and building on the successes achieved in recent years.

She indicated that Pakistan attaches great importance to reinforcing ties with the UAE, explaining that there is consensus between both countries’ leaderships on various international issues.
