Women’s Day in Dubai.

The international women’s day is celebrated worldwide on 8th of March every year. This year was no exception as cities all over world conducted various programs and events to mark the day. Being a tolerant city, Dubai has been making a lot of effort to guarantee rights for women and has opened doors to many events that support the empowerment of women.

Solitaire events in association with Asha’s restaurant, owned by legendary singer Asha Bhosle, made an effort to help the female labourers in Dubai. They recognised the invaluable contribution of women to build society and the sacrifices they make for the welfare of families back home.

“We were happy to see the smiles in their face and glad we celebrated this Day with such hardworking ladies … more power to womanhood,” said the duo, Ms Sabina and Ms Ritu, founders of Solitaire events to Asian Lite News.
