Argentina steps back from a friendly match with Israel prior to world cup, seemingly considering Israel’s treatment of Palestinians in Gaza.

Israeli defence minister said it was “too bad” Argentina’s footballers couldn’t withstand the pressure of Israeli- hating inciters.
Report says that the news was welcomed with cheers in Gaza, where 120 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in recent protest.
The campaign group Aavaz for calling off this match praised what it called “an ethical decision”.
